In the 1950s Boeing designed the first jet bomber, B-47 Stratojet, and B-52 Stratofortress, one of the symbols of the Cold War. On 15 July 1954 an experimental plan, Boeing 367-80, had its first flight. Later it showed the path for the 700 series of commercial Boeing jets.

Manufacturing performance and statements
Boeing works for the defense industry and, as such, has a certain level of protection of financial information. So, all key indicators of the company are aligned by manufacturing of civilian aircraft and for military needs based on available data. Having only this available, one cannot give an accurate characterization of its production.

The press release offered to investors upon close of 2010 Q3 points out that the company has weak signs of recovery of the global economy. Passenger and freight transportation continues showing clear signs of its recovery, albeit at slow rates.

A lower defense budget opens up international growth opportunities.

Q3 results reflect strong operating indicators of main structural units. Q3 earnings increased due to large sales of commercial airplanes.
Boeing’s production performance can be characterized by the example of historical expectations that reflect earnings per share and revenues.

Boeing’s technical analysis

Boeing’s shares are included in the listings of Dow Jones и S&P500. Options are traded with a minimum spread. There are no clear impulse patterns in the global chart. Now the share is within a wide flat. It is supported by a sloping channel below. The resistance is at Peak C of the tree-wave ABC model.
In the medium term, the price is in a wide flat with resistance levels at Peak C (76) of a three-wave ABC and the boundary of the sloping channel. When broken up, the new wave will give good reason to believe that an impulse wave has arrived with target levels expected above the historical high. Supports for a move down: the boundary of the sloping channel, corrective support by Fibonacci levels:
61.8% - 58.09;
50% - 52.54.

When peak A (53.39) is broken the alleged movement of the impulse wave changes to a corrective wave or continuation of the bearish trend.
